PROJECT SUMMARY

Delivered an audience-relevant brand Identity system for Sydney Credit Union, a financial business who wanted to appeal to a younger consumer on behalf of Blue Marlin Brand Design. Established differentiation to attract younger consumers by:

  • Creating a brand narrative that communicated a new brand positioning, centring around an approachable and memorable character that symbolized financial prudence.
  • Conceived a brand identity system, guidelines and a brand book designed to inform everything from the brand essence to the way the SCU brand should be experienced by the public, employees and business partners.
RESULT

“We’ve got a modern and fresh new look that we believe will appeal more to the younger generations. Although it’s hard to compete with the big banks on advertising budget we have a strong brand and a great proposition that’s a little more fun and little more friendly.”
